My teaching plan is based on adult learning theory, I start with a discussion that ties into learners' real experiences, then move into hands-on collaborative practice following Kolb's experiential learning cycle, and wrap up with learners building their own study plan, so they walk away with real ownership over how they're preparing.

For the driver's exam material, I focused on strategies that promote memory retention. That meant leaning into each learner's preferences and study style, again using Kolb's cycle, and connecting everything back to their own background and what they already know, so the material feels relevant instead of just memorized facts.
